We discuss this topic faily often in the LYT-Community. What digital device is able to replace pen and paper? What paper tablet do we use? What is our workflow with it? How do we get our notes into Obsidian? We have been discussing this often and I have to state for myself: I have paper tablet and I don't use them. Using the remarkable 1 and 2 I can say that the notes feel like they are locked in. Handwriting isn't transcribed perfectly, so it needs re-edits. Getting PDFs off the device into Obsidian feels cumbersome and time consuming. Using an IPAd with excalidraw for example, doesn't give me the same speed as a remarkable. so writing inside obsidian with excalidraw is no option as well. Pasting a foto of a notebook page into obsidian feels much more easy than anything else. Why I like to use and I use again and again is my rocketbook notebook. It is easy to use. It is reusable and the app does a decent job in saving the scans into any webdrive or email it. So I feel this is the only thing I like to carry around next to my Leuchturm notebook.
